FAQ - Boosters

Who are Stage Right Boosters?

Stage Right Boosters includes all of us who believe in the mission of Stage Right Performing Arts - to foster a love of theater and music in our children that will sustain and enrich each of their lives - and want our theatre program to thrive. Since 2010, SRPA has grown dramatically and attracts students metro wide, demonstrating a real need for an inclusive performing arts education program.

Why do we need   Boosters?
Don’t we already receive emails and sign ups? SRPA Boosters will organize parent involvement to better support and facilitate the MANY details involved in multiple shows and productions throughout the year; especially in two significant areas - fundraising and volunteering.

How can I get involved?
Join a parent volunteer team once you sign-up on the interest form. Once you sign-up on the interest form, Boosters will contact you and get started! If you have special skills that you feel don't fit in any teams, please reach out to us to discuss how you can help. By joining a volunteer team, you're helping Stage Right organize our amazing parent/family volunteer force to make these choirs and camps the very best they can be for your kids.

What is the commitment?
Stage Right Booster's Executive Council runs August - July and is a core group of parents that run the Booster program as a whole and advise. Individual parent volunteer groups (lower commitment, specialized area of volunteering) vary, so check each team for the run time. In September 2022, we'll re-open parent teams. Your commitment can vary from very hands-on (team lead) to episodic (joining a team). When you join a team you're not committed to any specific event, you're just our "go-to" group for volunteers for those events.

Is it only for parents?

No! Friends, family members and community members are all welcome to join Boosters. If you are not an immediate family member of a current student, we may ask for some additional volunteer screening if working with our kids, but we welcome all arts supporters to get involved!

Stage Right Boosters invite ALL of you to join us! Take this opportunity to make an impact and have fun with other families and your child.
