Spotlight Kids

Spotlight Kids is designed specifically for passionate young performers in 3rd and 4th grade, this dynamic program offers immersive training in dance, acting, and singing. Throughout the year, students will build their skills, grow their confidence, and gain real performance experience—all in a supportive, high-energy environment. Whether your child is new to the stage or already shining under the spotlight, this program is the perfect opportunity to ignite their love for theatre and help them thrive!

Joining Spotlight Kids

Spotlight Kids does not require an audition to join, however, the program does fill quickly. You can sign-up to get a reminder when sign-ups will open by joining the interest list below.

If your student is new to theatre, we recommend having them take one of our 5 week acting classes before enrolling. It's a great way to try out theatre classes before committing to the full school year.

PROGRAM DETAILS

2026-27 Grade Eligibility:
- The grades eligible for spotlight Kids - 3-4.
Companies Meet: Saturdays for 1 hr in Prairie Village, KS.
Program Runs: Sept - Apr
Students Year: approx. 25-30
Auditions?: Spotlight Kids does not require auditions.
Performances: Spotlight Kids has 2 performances per year that are showcase style performances.

INVESTMENT

2025-26 Pricing:

Spotlight Kids is a full school year program. Tuition is $800 for the year, broken into 4 payments (due Oct 1, Dec 1, Feb 1 & Apr 1).

Students may choose to audition for YPP going into their 5th grade year, which is the next step.

*Pricing may adjust, please confirm pricing on registration form for each new school year. Listed price reflects current year and may be higher for upcoming years. Beginning Jan 2026, there will be a 3% convenience fee added for card-based transactions. ACH transactions will not incur this fee.

When did you find us?

Sept - Feb - If you have a 3rd-4th grader, we recommend trying a 5 week acting class to gauge interest before committing to Spotlight Kids the following year. You can also check out our winter showcases in December and signing up on the interest form.
