Young professionals program
Take the guesswork out of your child's arts education path as our expert instructors prepare them for the stage - and life - with YPP! This is program is Stage Right's premiere program, geared for performers who want to work on their "triple threat" skills, with an emphasis on their acting and performance skills. Learn audition skills (including mock auditions with local theatre professionals), dance, acting, teamwork, personal accountability and so much more.

YPP students participate in PROGRAM EXCLUSIVE performances - typically a play in the fall and a musical or abbreviated highlights of a musical in the spring. These performance opportunities are ONLY available to YPP students!

If you're a parent who has a kid itching for the stage, but you don't know where to start, the Young Professionals Program is your answer to arts education. We handle the planning and you know you're putting your student's education in the hands of qualified instructors with real world and educational experience. This is an audition-based course to ensure your student will get the full value of this program and is ready to commit to learning.
Joining Young Professionals
The YPP journey begins with auditions. General auditions are open to any students in grades 5-12 in the KC Metro and occur in late summer for the upcoming school year.

We are educators first, so we strive for a supportive, encouraging and FUN audition experience. Students are typically asked to bring a 1min musical theatre song cut and a short monologue to audition with.
